This magazine advertisement includes an image of the artist in the centre of the advert. She also takes up the majority of the image which draws the reader attention to the artist. The image is also the same as the one used on the album cover therefore creating a clear link between the advertisement and the product. By doing this it can also make the album easier to identify.
In addition the name of the artist is in large white text in the top centre of the advert. This stands out from the blue background whilst also keeping into the soft blue and white colour scheme. By doing this it attracts the reader to the name of the artist whilst at the same time looking very professional. This is also done for the name of the album as it stands out from her white shirt whilst keeping to the colour scheme as it is a light blue.
The advert also includes the release date of the album so that the reader knows when they are able to buy it. As well as this it state two of the already well known singles that are on the album in order to boost the albums popularity.

In the bottom left hand corner there is information of where the album can be purchased making it easier for the reader to get hold of the album quickly. In this case amazon.

hThis magazine advert includes a large image of the artist in the centre. By doing this the target audience knows exactly who the magazine advert is advertising. It is also very eye catching and the buyers eyes are drawn to the picture of the artist.

Also the name of the artist is in bold and the bright yellow colour stands out from the dark background. This in turn draws the buyers attention to the name of the artist making her identifiable. The name of the album also uses this effect in order to achieve the same impact.

At the bottom of the advertisement there are reviews from magazines complimenting the album making the audience more likely to buy it. One of the magazines is 'the fly' which is a well established music magazine.

Florence + the Machine "Lungs" analysis
The name of the artist is at the top in the centre of the advertisement as well as being in a bright white colour which stands out from the dark green background. This instantly draws the readers attention to it so they know who the advertisement is for. This is also done for the name of the album and its realease date.
